Uggs are slippy, not grippy.

Have just bought some of these, now just need some snow.

BeehiveBaby · 19/10/2010 19:50

Uggs terrible in snow, like sponges.

orienteerer · 19/10/2010 19:53

A 3/4 length walking boot a bit like this, definitely not Uggs....

BeehiveBaby · 19/10/2010 19:53

ELQ, do you mean these? They look great and th holy grail of half sizes!

BeehiveBaby · 19/10/2010 19:55

duckyfuzz · 19/10/2010 19:57

walking boots

youngblowfish · 19/10/2010 19:59

Not the most fashionable pair of boots I have ever owned, but these do the trick for me. Warm, waterproof, comfortable and have amazing grip.

HabbiBOOOO · 19/10/2010 20:02

I'd love these this winter.

HabbiBOOOO · 19/10/2010 20:04

Gah. these

Good old green Dunlop WELLIES! With sheepskin insoles. Who needs fashion when it's snowing?

fin42 · 19/10/2010 21:03

I got these for christmas last year. Loved them but thought i wouldn't wear them much, of course i was wrong. i wore them loads and my feet stayed warm and toasty, and they had good grip. They are still as good as new as the snow and ice just seemed to roll off them.

GeekOfTheWeek · 19/10/2010 21:16

Uggs not good in the snow.

I wear wellies. Not fasionable ones either.
