Hi,

I've been working from home so not very wise on what to wear for job interviews. Got one coming up that is for my dream job. It's for a creative role with big corporate clients, which would involve lots of presentations. I have no idea how to look creative and corporate at the same time. Can do one or other but not together. Any advice?

(btw I'm fair, 5'4, size 12. Best feature - small waist. Worst feature - rugby player's legs!)

I'd be so grateful for advice from the style queens on here.

I am not a style queen but I'd say tend towards looking corporate and let your work show your creativity.

Get a really nice suit. What's your budget?

TethHearseEnd · 19/10/2010 16:53

If budget is not an issue Wink

Here?

Or how about a waistcoat and matching pencil skirt with (pussy bow) blouse underneath?

Teth, I love Vivien Westwood but can't run to that yet. (Maybe if I get the job...)

Suit's a good idea. I just want one with a bit of a funky edge to it but have no idea where to look. Want to avoid what someone on another thread here said looks like it was bought from the supermarket along with the nuggets and plonk because there's an interview coming up.

Yangy- I love dresses and have a couple already that could work.

Budget's quite tight. £150 to spend on clothes, max. Already have a good coat, need shoes (boots?) up to about £80 anyway for winter. Wish I could sneak a look at the company and see what other people who work there wear.

Thanks for the ideas and links. They're helping.
