Come and show off your lovely sunglasses

So I have never had a pair of designer sunglasses before...its my birthday this week and I quite fancy some.

Any recommendarions? I have in my mind to spend up to around £150. What have you got, what did they cost and are you glad you got them? Nosy arn't i?! Oh and where did you purchase said lovely item? :)

I have one's very similar to these which I bought last year at £220. They where supposed to be £250 I think but got the heads up about a voucher in some trashy magazine for money off.

Mine are only very slightly different in that the 'Chanel' logo is actually the circle bit on the arms, not a logo in a circle iygwim.

I absolutely love them.

By far my favourite accessory.

I have these in the black and the tortoiseshell.

They are so comfy and I have the brown for about 6 years now and still love them. The black I bought about years ago as I fancied a new pair but still wear the brown most days.

Locally I only have the sunglass hut and the likes of debenhams and house of Fraser to try them on. Not sure they do Chanel??? I've seen some nice Dior ones though.

Ilovebags I bought mine from the opticians, they have a lovely designer sunglasses section in the one near me!!

DTI10 I couldn't get hold of the Jeff boots I wanted, only managed to find them in black.

Ilovebags - I bought mine from the sunglasses shop. I think they still have them.

House of Fraser do some Chanel - older versions. Debenhams - I have seen some Dior (but very big frames)in store.

hi apple99 - don't want to take over this thread but what a shame about the Jeff boots. Did you try Lux in Bath? I bought a pair of Ash hi-tops (for next year) and a glorious pair of LK Bennett leopard print shoes (Jane).

Miu Miu graduated ones, with a purplish hue, from Liberty. No link sorry!

Well, my shopping trip today was a success! Went to the sunglass hut and ended up with Chanel 5175 glasses in brown. My husband was reeling from the shock of the price but they are so pretty and totally not the shape i thpught i'd get. These are quite square framed with delicate little logo and thin arms. Sorry, am rubbish at links...see if this works...
