Spanx

Hi all, I just wondered if any of you had tried any of the Spanx body slimming items such as the slip or cami tops. Do they really work in pulling you in? Has anyone tried the tights, and if so, do they slim the whole leg?

Thanks :-)

I've only tried the classic spanx and the legs roll up on me, I can't wear them at all.

I do have some fantastic huge pants by miraclesuit though from Figleaves that are hardcore and take inches off.

I would be interested in trying different spanx products as I've toned up a fair bit and my miraclesuit pants are starting to slide a little so may need to reinvest.

I got some Spanx Higher Power, which go from below bra to mid-thigh. I couldn't wear them every day but for special occasions they are worth the effort, not easy to put on, awkward to use toilet but def. make a difference. Didn't roll up/slide down on me.

My only slight disappointment is that they didn't improve my waist much but seemed to squish my tummy/hip flab upward to that area. DH did notice when I changed from the pretty dress into jeans that I was still wearing them. Def. no muffin top on the jeans any more but way too warm for any length of time under trousers imo.

Never tried the tights so can't help there.

I bought the swimsuit in a moment of financial lunacy and panic about my body. I have to say it worked like magic.

I have the slip and I love it. Definitely worth the money. The only problem I have is that it squishes my boobs down a bit, but I think that's a problem with the size of my boobs/back rather than the slip itself.

Another vote for the slip, it does give a nice line under dresses and is fairly comfortable.

I have the tights. They are control down to mid thigh and go up to your bra (I'm 5ft10 so are long). The rest of the tights are very high denier -probably 100 an d very flattering. I ladder most tights, but these have survived 2 winters so far. Can't wear too short a skirt though because the thigh bits will show when you sit down, but then short dresses do ride up higher on me bacause of my height.

I have the mid thigh short things too-better for jeans or something.

They pull you in, but the best thing is the smoothness- no muffin top, no saddle bags, no jutting out tummy.

The reason I didn't buu a slip was because my boobs need padding not controlling! The pants/tights come up so far I can't see why you'd need a slip.
