I am trying to swap to products that have no knownnasties in the m, and currently use products by REN, Dr Hauska and Liz Earle- there must be more? Organic Pharamcy- anyone?
What about make up?
Can anyone help as I think some are just by mail order?

Weleda and Lavera are two more. Also Green People.
Make up is more difficult than 'products' I think - although I know lavera do dome.

Bare Escentials for make-up. Doesn't go on about being natural but all mineral make up with no artfical preservatives, parabens etc.

I love Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish and have some samples of the new shampoo and conditioner to try (if i ever remember to take them into the bathroom!)

I can also recommend This Works: especially their active oil, which left my skin baby soft after just one night! Just noticed their hand cream in today's style magazine - anyone tried it?

I use Lavera and have done for quite a while, also occasionally Dr. hauschka.

Dr Hauschka and Neal's Yard are my favourite for skincare. Aveda for hair. Smashbox for make up (not 100% nasty free, I don't think, but better than most and works wonders).

Another vote for Neal's Yard here.
If you want to be totally nasty free, do check the ingredient list on every product. Liz Earle is actually not completely free of nasties as some of her products apparently do have parabens in them. She sold the company to Avon recently I hear.

Neal's Yard is the only brand with Soil Association accreditation for their organic ingredients and the only company that is honest about the total organic content and the lack of chemicals in their products.

Waitrose do a variety of Organic shower gels, shampoos etc. which are free from parabens and SLS. The Dutchy range is nice as is Organic Surge. Also, there's the Yes to Carrots or Yes to Tomatoes range which I think you can get on the Victoria Health website or Amazon.

African Black soap is quite nice but you need to keep it in a soap dish 'cos it gets a bit mushy towards the end. Great if you have sensitive skin or excema - available from various websites if you Google it. It's also recommended for washing babies apparently.
