What do you think of this coat?

I know there was a thread about Karen Millen the other day but went into the shop today to buy the coat I wanted but saw this instead. (and it's cheaper than the original one I wanted)

It looks brown in the pic but it's more a grey colour with a kind of green tinge to it.

I'm looking at it hanging over my dining room chair and wondering if I made a mistake or not?

So what do you think?

I tried that coat on today Pixie. I was the same as you and unsure. Its quite nice but wasn't nice enough for me to buy. I'm not sure why either because it is a nice coat, I just didn't feel like it was anything special.

I think will date quickly. I'm all for a classic coat, me

it would turn heads but for the wrong reasons

I nearly like it, but the 'frill' at the bottom isn't floating my boat.

I don't like it, although I imagine grey would be nicer than the photo brown.

The trouble with this is the length, you will be forced to make all skirts/trousers/dresses plain as can be, to match and not compete with the zips.

I stopped buying Karen Millen when I realised almost all garments were dry clean only.

I say if you are not sure, take it back. When you buy a new coat you should be loving it and not caring what others think.
