Can anyone help me be a yummy-mummy, or is it too late?

Trying to "jazz" up my image a bit - bear in mind I have big bum, hips and boobs! (and a saggy Caesarian tummy)

it's never too late. i match your description (tho' fast losing weight due to stress of househunting) and have also decided to transform my image. good luck! will watch this thread with interest. i think it all starts with a great hair cut/colour

SleepySuzy · 12/09/2005 12:22

Yeah, could do with a really good hairstylist, my hair is shoulder length and light blonde with a few layers btw.

I just walked into a trendy hairdressers and said "I'm bored with my hair, cut it!" The stylist talked me through his ideas and it looks fab.

Yes - a hircut would be a brilliant start. Then go to a beauticians and get waxed, eyelashes tinted (if need be), nails done. You don't need to end up looking like a footballers wife but it will help with a feeling of polish!
Then get some lovely, flattering underwear which works well under clothes (ie not sex undies!) and maybe a new handbag.

oops - haircut!

SleepySuzy · 12/09/2005 12:45

Like the beautician idea.

never too late

Hair cut, eyebow shape, some new clothes (if you can afford) if not just start buying trendy accessories and jazz up what you've got!

If you can afford some new clothes but not really sure what suits you anymore go to arrange a session with Debenahms personal shopper (free) you don't have to buy but I found they chose things that I never have picked for myself

MascaraOHara · 12/09/2005 14:18

posts crossed MT!

SleepySuzy · 12/09/2005 14:21

Think I'll have to save up then!
