when you find one, let me know - when I go out I can look perfectly presentable but then top it off with my old fleece!

was it on here i read about fake fur sometimes being cat fur? I think those lightish military jackets ala kate moss could be worn with sparkly top. i think primarks everywhere have sold out of their £15 version..

NomDePlume · 12/09/2005 12:45

Fake fur just makes me think of Marrrrrrrlene from Only Fools and Horses, sorry !

I usually wear my leather jacket in winter (it's a longish one with stand up collar). If it's warmer could you not wear a sort of cardigan type thing?

Miaou · 12/09/2005 12:51

How about a velvet jacket, cod? You can dress it up or down then.

There are a lot about cut in "military" style, eg button up to the throat, but you might find one cut in a more normal jacket style too.

I have a brown fine cord jacket (with a tiny polka dot pattern) that I brought from Hennes last year which I love. The best bit is it fastens with a ribbon. There are some similar styled ones at \link{http://store.monsoon.co.uk/catalog/Welcome\Monsoon)

cupcakes · 12/09/2005 12:57

Yes, the Lulu one is great. Just the same shape as my one that I love. Can be smart but great with jeans.

Miaou · 12/09/2005 13:00

I like the Teryn one too. Has a ribbon tie.
