My best friend is getting married in 3 weeks. She doesn't really get on with her mum so I don't think anyone is going to do this for her so as a bridemaid would like to do it but have no idea what to get!!

She is wearing a lace covered dress, cap sleeves with a low v at front and back but I think she has everthing covered in terms of her outfit and is quite particular about these things!

Any help would be brilliant, thanks

I wore my mum's engagement ring, which I had inherited from her (blue, old). I had a new dress, new shoes. I can't remember what was borrowed!

Old was the stones in my engagement ring that came from my grandmothers ring which we had reset.

New was my outfit. Didn't do a dress.

Borrowed was a diamond necklace from SIL.

Blue was a blue painted toe nail

the full phrase is as above but ends with 'and a silver sixpence in my shoe'. Can you get her one of these, covers old also i guess. You could even lend it to her to cover borrowed?

My grandmother sewed a small loop of blue ribbon inside my dress. Wonder if you could do that, or maybe find an old blue botton that you could do the same with?

My dress and shoes were new, so I felt that was covered! Old was a Brussels lace handkerchief tucked into my sleeve (it was a puff sleeve!), borrowed was my mother's pearls, blue was a blue bow on a garter and I also had a sixpence in my shoe, MIL gave me that as it was one of her pudding sixpences

Do you know what jewellery she's after?

Old - pearl necklace gift for my 21st from parents.
New - Dress/Shoes
Borrowed - pearl earrings from SIL/MOH, she wore my pearls which I felt I couldn't wear as they were a gift from my XBF!
Blue - garter with blue ribbon given to me my BFF and blue nail polish.
Don't remember having the sixpence but I know MIL talked about it!
