Lovely Coat?

Good Morning stylish Ladles, Do any of you have or have you seen this coat in the flesh?
lovely coat?
What do you think?
I likes it, I do... but the reviews are not too good. A size 6 lady says it makes her look big; so I am not sure if its ideal for as my post-birth treat! ( I am a 14, and will be on my way back to a 12)
Normally my stuff is a bit more casual than this (and a bit cheaper TBH) and I want it to look good with dresses and boots and jeans and Converse etc.

I have seen it in the flesh just this morning! I think it's really nice, but as I didn't try it on, I can't tell you if it's true to size.

I like it but would want to try it one first the frills make the model look a bit big in the shoulders. Also wonder if it would look all bumfuled up with a bag?

I like it, but I think that you'd need to be reasonably tall to carry it off. Perhaps the size 6 lady is very petite, and needs something a bit more nipped-in in order not to be swamped.

I think the frill would be okay with a bag, unless you wear a cross-body one, in which case you wouldn't quite get the full impact.

I.m sorry but the only thing that could make a size 6 lady look fat would be a fat suit Grin

I've gone off FC at the moment.

I love the style of their clothes, but the quality isn't what I'd expect for the money.

I bought a gorgeous trench from there back in April (for about £100) and have already had to sew 2 buttons back on. (I've also had to take a few other items that washed really badly).

So although I really like the style of it I'd say you need to check the stitching etc really carefully before paying that much.

Hmmm, I definitely need to trek to the nearest town with a French Connection and meet it in person. For that much £ I want it to really nice! Thanks everyone for your advice Smile
