Hi Roasted Grin

Any sites that have them ridiculously cheap are guaranteed fake.

My sis had some seized by customs Shock

Mine are from schu and have lasted well for about 3 years! John Lewis have them and iirc the brown ones were in the sale.

I think you may be as well going to the trafford centre and looking there. Office have them too.

roastedfox · 14/10/2010 18:09

hey there!
whats iirc?
what style do you have?
i like the tall ones best i think but also the short and bailey buttons.
the real ones don't make you walk like a crazy lady like the cheap ones do, do they?

iirc is if I remember correctly!

I have short black ones and no walking problems Grin

I can send you some pics of heels if you like so you can see how they last. No sagging at all after 3 years and plenty of wear.

The tall ones will look great on you IMO.

roastedfox · 14/10/2010 19:33

thanx chick!
think i'll pop to a shop and give them a try Grin

Sorry for hijack, but can you please tell me how they fare in the rain? Was going to buy some but I can't help but think if I can never wear them when it's wet out, I won't get to wear them much!!!

berri · 15/10/2010 13:19

bump!

Tootlesmummy · 15/10/2010 13:22

Mine as absolutely fine in the rain and dry out as good as new.

GeekOfTheWeek · 15/10/2010 17:10

Mine are fine in the rain, not waterproof but dried out okay and no damage.

Just letting you know that the knitted ones were 93.98 including vat in costco today.

mathanxiety · 15/10/2010 20:56

You can spray them with suede protector, and that gives them a bit of a wetness shield, then spray again when they dry out properly.

Shudoo is a good site. They have discount codes quite a lot too.

applecrumbleandcream · 15/10/2010 21:45

Hi, when I was looking for Uggs last year I found this really useful - even though I didn't buy them from e-bay. I eventually bought mine from the Office website so I knew they were genuine.

Maryqueenofchocs · 15/10/2010 22:30

My DH has said if I buy a pair he will divorce me then shoot me.Grin

If you can't stretch to the price of authentic Uggs then I recommend having a look at Emu (you can get those on QVC). I have both.

nicolamumof3 · 16/10/2010 17:59

hey roasted! i loved my chestnut bailey buttons, but had to return them to shudoo as mine were faulty, weird actually. They only had chocolate in stock not as nice but i still love them!
