I am a big fan of the proper robeez for kids (ie the shoes not the slippers). They are actual shoes but with a fully flexible sole for foot development. But I am not a fan of the current range. Is there anything else like these out there?

Can't praise these highly enough.
DDs have had their boots and shoes from first steps. Padded and extra comfy.

I second Umi, great quality, good design. FYI, gorehaginhellsbum, amazon also sells Umi- way cheaper than the official site, especially if you catch a special offer....

Oh yes,I know it's brilliant - the most I've ever paid is £16.72(?) for long boots for DD.
They do have way too many though now Grin because of this!
