One shouldered bridesmaids dress

I'm one of five bridesmaids in my friends spring wedding. She has chosen a lovely one-shouldered fitted wedding dress and would like bridesmaids also in one-shouldered dresses. The problem is that the dress she took me and another BM to see yesterday was HIDEOUS. I cant even find a picture of it - it is too short in my opinion and not fitted enough - the other BM tried it on and looked terrible. She has big norks and it flared over them like she was preggers.

Has anyone seen any nice one shouldered dresses that would be good for bridesmaids dresses? We can't spend over £120 each on the dress. The bride wants us to wear black as her dress has black lace through it, but I think she could be convinced about a colour - but definitely not a pattern. Nothing too short or froufy!

The closest I have found so far is this www.wallis.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?beginIndex=0&viewAllFlag=&catalogId=33058&storeId=12557&productId=1987046&langId=-1&sort_field=Relevance&categoryId=215490&parent_categoryId=209167&sort_field=Relevance&pageSize=20&beginIndex=21 but I don't think bride would go for full length. Also this, but it is too expensive: www.karenmillen.com/Sculptural-frill-short-dress/Dresses/karenmillen/fcp-product/903000054447

Please save me from having to wear a hideous bridesmaid dress!!!

Have a look at this page. Quite a few dresses that fit the brief!

Thanks notyummy. The Oasis one is along the lines of what I was thinking. What do you think about velvet for a spring wedding though?

I think the warehouse will be too short for some of the taller BMs (not me - I'm only 5'2).

The Cheryl has only 14,16,18 left and I think the other JL one is more of the style I want to avoid - too much volume.

Do you think this dress really fits badly or just doesn't suit the model? www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10001_10001_021010375060_-1?breadcrumb=Home~Women~Dresses

I think it is ok - maybe the draping makes it difficult to tell?

That asos site has loads thanks notyummy. What is asos like?

I think the problem would be that with so many bridesmaids we'd really have to try things on.

ASOS generally prett good. Obviously you have to pay for delivery etc, but the costs are the same whether you order one or 3 items - so you could order different sizes and see what fits.
