I THINK I need a pair of leggings for evening

I've bought what I think is a lovely tunic/dress to wear for a few parties coming up.

It's a kind of 60s shift dress shape, figure hugging but not too tight, with flowing chiffon bat-wing sleeves.

I bought it thinking opaque tights, but it is very short and I now think it's probably a top rather than a dress iyswim and need leggings.

I've never owned a pair Shock Is there such a thing as glamorous ones? Maybe with a bit of shine? Would be great if someone could point me in the direction of some that would suck me in a la Spanx! Don't be too scared for the overall look though, I am5'7" and the dress is size 10!

I got some fantastic evening leggings at Claire's Accessories last year Blush. Shiny with a monochrome rose print. They had some other nice ones too, would be worth a look now if you have any C's As close by.

Have seen a lot of lacy ones around elsewhere.

Haven't seen any "control" ones right enough! I would prob just wear Spanx underneath.

Uniqlo have some with a band of shine down the side which are rather nice

Black rats or American Apparel and Miss Selfridge do cheaper versions.

Or how about leather leggings?

But at 5ft 7 and a size 10 - I so reckon you could easily get away with opaques. After all leggings are just thick tights really.

Thank you all, I'll have a look at those.
