Ive always lost what i think is a normal amount when I wash it but since I turned 40 Im getting handfulls!! I keep looking at women my mothers age with thinning hair and wondering if it comes to us all??

Does it stop growing back at a certain age? Luckily I have lots of it but its very fine.

im 31 and have been lossing hair for the last few months.

I spoke to my hairdresser and she says it seems fine and she isn't worried iykwim. I have been to my gp, blood tests show i was anemic so put on iron tablets for 3 months. Now 4 ish months on and I still have hairloss, I seem to wash my hair (sometimes daily) and I have quite a bit in my hands BUT tbh not noticed my hair getting thinner (possibly just around my hairline a little/parting..?) BUT I have gone very dark hair coloured about 4 months ago SO we think maybe its more noticable as im now dark instead of brown iykwim..

I have long hair and like you it is fine but there is a lot of it. I lose a lot of hair and at least double the pre-dd amount. I bf for a long time and found my hair loss improved when I stopped. I found this worked wonders (which it should for the price).

forgot to add, my hairdresser said that it can take a while after having kids for your hair to get back to normal...

I have dd (5) and ds (3) so god knows how long I need to wait !
