Annoyed with Asda

I went in and bought a lovely suit

Black cotton with a Mexican(maybe) inspired patten.

Lovely jacket with embroidary and the skirt is printed

But the embroidary and the printing are slightly different colours

Has anyone else seen it? Am I fussing over nothing?

Would it look awful worn together?

Please help as I love it - but think it might look naff

well, didn't you see that when you bought it?

katymac · 10/09/2005 17:14

In the electric light they looked the same

And I suppose I can't beleive they would make a suit with a different colour in the skirt and the jacket

i think probably people wouldn't notice when you were wearing it... but as nellie says... you will probably be annoyed by it because you know!

i do think it is difficult to get an exact match between a printed colour and am embroidered thread... but asda should refund it for you no probs

Bu&&er it was going to be the "core" outfit for my holiday and I've matched everything else round it

I seriously doubt anyone else would notice, especially if they are not supposed to be an exact match - had both been plain black or the print not matching that would be different. If it is going to irritate you take it back, but could you not just mix and match with other things or are you really intending to wear them together all the time ?

katymac · 10/09/2005 17:44

No - Not all the time

But if it's going to look awful - I'd rather not wear them together

I like things to match (aren't I sad)
