Facials that work

Advice please! I am being bought a facial for a bday present and would really like one that could get my skin back on track.
I have very dry skin and have noticed some sun spots recently. I also have an outbreak of spots on my chin that I think must be due to stress. Altogether not the most attractive state.
I have been told that IPL can really make your skin look more evenly toned and reduce sun spots. I have also read about one called a derma roller, sounds painful but gives amazing results apparantly.
Does anyone have any recommendations for any great facial treatment in London.
Thank you!

Just a bit of advice on the sun spots( I had two large patches which started small but grew due to me being outdoors all day)

I used a matt sun screen by Ego called Sun Sense daily face - I got it from boots from behind the counter as it is a 50+ sun screen. This stops them developing more but doesn't get rid :(

However !! Good news the only thing I have tried and it worked (and I have tried a lot of stuff specifically for fading age spots !!) is Roc Multi correction. Its definitely faded them and is a great moisturiser.

If you make you skin sensitive it brings age spot up more in the sun, like peels or exfolating.

NOt sure about facials but I hope that was helpful, my mum has terrible pigmintation and I really worried about mine so took action !!

thanks for that pretty, I am definitely going to invest in a high factor sunscreen.
will try the Roc as well, maybe a facial, then taking preventative action could work.

hey you're welcome, i thought the sunscreen hadn't worked till now, my tan has gone and usually my sun spots would still be there but they have faded nicely.

Facials are great for getting the circulation going ! Good luck !
