How many coats do you have?

I never seem to have the right coat- for instance I have 2 raincoats which are fashionable but not waterproof.
My showerproof coat is a huge down filled affair, which is too hot for most of the year.
I have a nice smart wool coat, but often feel overdressed in it.
Tell me about your coats, as I need to be ruthless about buying a new one.

From memory I have the following:

1. black full-length faux shearling, v warm and comfy.
2. pale pink Per Una raincoat, v useful in spring and summer
3. green velvet Boden swing jacket
4. maroony/pinky velvet Boden coat
5. dark green padded H&M 3/4 coat ideally I would like to replace this as worn a lot over the last 2 winters but what with?
6. Faux-fur jacket which is warm and useful as it goes with lots but not desperately waterproof.
7. Pink waterproof Boden jacket, which is v. practical but not superwarm
8. Brown suede biker-style jacket cut short, not particularly warm and is neat fitting so can't get more than a layer underneath.
9. Zara pale chino colour jacket which is ideal for the change of seasons.

10. Pale lime cagoule only worn in summer rain showers

On reflection and seeing it written down I have plenty but I still want that elusive warm & stylish coat/jacket that can cope with a bit of rain to be worn almost daily in the winter to replace #5.

I think I am seriously lacking in the coat and jacket department
TBH, I am not really a coat person - at 5ft, I find it hard to find ones that fit well and don't swamp me.
I get by on the following

Lands End body warmer
Suit jacket / blazer

3 waterproof jackets.

1 Denim Jacket.

1 short Duffle coat.

My pale blue furry hug jacket (favourite)

Purple hooded furry fleece (2nd favourite)

Pink waterproof walking jacket (but mot like above)

Amethyst fleece.

Cream cord fitted jacket.

Grey denim fitted jacket.

A gorgeous pale brown Fur coat that a woman gave me because I said I liked it and she didn't wear it any more..

Brown long coat (inherited from Aunt)

Black Cashmere 3/4 coat (also inherited from Aunt)
