Tights (or Stockings) or Bare legs???

I have an event to attend this evening, and am wearing a dress like this

Do I need something on my legs or do I go bare???

sorry but I really need advice on this...I would wear something but worry that I am being hideously frumpy old-fashioned

Lovely dress. I would go bare if I had lovely tanned pins or a fine denier pair of natural tan coloured tights if not.

yes, if you have lovely legs, and the venue is warm, nothing, otherwise thin glossy natural tights

Thankyou thin as in 10 denier? I'm sure I wore these last year, but seem to thonk that everyone else has bare legs.

My legs, not white, but not really tanned either. Very long, not really very tonned but looking better with the stupidly high heels I've got to try and walk in. (not really looking forward to said event)
