..and am quite pleased with it, but now alot of my clothes look wrong and im a bit unsure about what colours to wear now - has anyone else done this and can advise? i am a v light blonde now and feel that some of my more colourful clothes look a bit brash..

I found black really difficult to wear so have gone navy mad.
Changed my make-up too as rose/bright pinks for lips looked cheap somehow. Black mascara went to brown/black and just toned down a few other things.
Bit of fake tan always helps though if you still want to wear bright colours.

I did this, went a lot lighter anyway, about a year ago and I still haven't got to grips with what colours I should be wearing. Keep thinking I should get my colours done but can't afford it.

I just bought a second hand copy from Amazon of "Colour me Confident" as recommended by PP on another thread. Twas a revelation. A good start.

thanks - do you think that you are the same ''season'' (if you know which one you are..) now that hair colour has changed?

Yes, cos you can always see my roots!

Same eye colour and skin tone and the hair change hasn't made any difference. It takes into account your eyebrows and eyelashes which I haven't messed with.
This book is divided into 5 or 6 sections - clear, cool, warm, deep, light with add on variations.

Would like to find the season palette thing though too (different company).

I did this (except went from blonde to brown)a couple of years ago and found exactly the same. I was actually thinking of doing it again in a few weeks but you've just made me think maybe I shouldn't.

Dark hair can take more vibrant colours I think whilst blonde should wear more muted / pastel tones. I'm blonde at the moment and tend to stick to natural colours in neutral tones. Lots of brown / beige / light pink etc. I do find navy blue works quite well too. I tend to stay away from jewel colours like deep greens etc
