How do I turn this into an evening dress?

I originally bought this dress for a christening but am wondering if I can accessorise it differently to wear it for an evening do? I've got the navy and grey version rather than the navy and ivory shown in the picture.

It's a tiny bit like this Reiss dress which looks quite good belted on the model - do you think that makes it more eveningy?

I am totally clueless so would really appreciate some help Smile

what kind of evening do?

I might wear navy tights and very high navy trendy shoes, with a clutch bag and dangly earrings

the earrings and clutch could have a bit of bling on them to liven things up

Thanks cyb. It's a work Christmas do, at a fairly trendy restaurant/bar.

I always leave it to the last minute to get something, fail to find anything and end up totally underdressed, usually in jeans Blush

I don't wear earrings so they're out unfortunately. Can you link to any shoes/bag?
