Bikini Waxing

I am thinking of going for a bikini wax but feel really weird about exposing my 'bits' in front of someone else. What is the usual routine? Do you keep pants on or off? Just want to be prepared

Depends on what type of wax. If it is just a basic bikini wax you keep your pants on and they do the bit on the side of your knickers. If you want lots of the front, underneath or round the back done you need to be knickerless. They are very good though. I have everything below the waist waxed off and don't find it embarassing. They see it all the time and just get on with the job!

You don't have to get naked for a normal wax. Some beauticians tuck tissue paper down the side of your pants to stop the wax getting on them or you can hold the fabric up a bit.

FWIW I do my own brazillians anyway, never been brave enough to go the whole way at a salon .

My salon provides tiny paper knickers. Literally a tiny V front and back and a string either side. It's more for cosmetic purposes than anything else, to be honest. But it does make you feel less naked.

Meglet how do you do your own brazilians????!!!! I had it done for my wedding, never again! I loved the results but the process was far too painful!

But OP normal waxes are fine!

coulddobetter Mirror, crouching and little strips of cotton to get the wax off the awkward bits . It's quite quick (about 10 minutes) but I tend to break it down over 2 days so I do it nicely, day 1 - do the front and make it look tidy, then day 2 - underneath.

I use the veet (or is it immac) hot wax and old tea towels cut into strips .
