Ok so where do I start?

I am a minger, I haven't had a haircut for about 4 years. My clothes are just functional shreds basically.

I have decided to spend my ou grant on making myself look at least presentable. I'm fat btw (probably a size 22 Sad)

Ok so I need boots and a coat and a couple of jeans/trousers more tops.

Where do I even start?

I haven't got a clue, most fashions seem to be skinny jeans (which In can't imagine will look good on me).

Do I start from the boots up? Or jeans first?

I will be getting my hair spruced, no matter what I do, I'm sick of being a bag lady.

I love shoes so will concentrate on that.

Please help?

Start with jeans. The only solution really is to try on about 100 pairs until you find some you love.

How old are you?

And you mustn't use that nasty "m-" word to describe yourself.

I am 29, but I am animula. I have really neglected myself, I really am a bag lady.

I will go into town though and try on lots of clothes (even though I hate it). I think It's the only way .

Straight leg jeans, not skinny, are far more flattering, and give a nod to the current fashion.

You are not a bag lady. If you are truly skint, I advise the MN haircut, the oil cleansing method, and unless your hair is dead straight, the curly girl method.

I would buy some very plain basics the most boring jeans/trousers and tops you can find. And a lovely pair of boots and coat. You can liven it up with cheap accessories - scarf etc, and some good foundation, cheap mascara and eyeliner, the pink vaseline is cheap and does wonders.
