Long thin 12 month old - clothes size dilemma

My nearly 12 month old daughter is currently beating her genetic destiny by proving to be long and thin, as opposed to chunky like me.

She is just under 19lbs, but fairly long (last time 75th percentile on length)

So - winter is coming and I need to buy her some clothes. Next has some lovely girl stuff, but sizes are 9-12 months, or 12-18 months. I think there sizes are up to 24lbs for a 12 month old, but they don't take into account long thin 'uns.

Do I get the smaller size and have them short? or the bigger one and have them swamp her, but long enough

Hmmmm what to do what to do...

We've gone for baggy and swampy for our 105th centile for height 12 month DS Confused

They'll last longer and we just roll up the sleeves!

I go for baggy for my DC - provided there are adjustable waistbands.

Also, have you checked out Gap? Their sizes come up small and tend to be cut for tall, thin children.
