Before my DH spends £43 on 8 pairs of socks! 
. Can anyone recommend some good quality socks that do not fall apart after a month? He has been wearing cotton M&S ones that fall apart really quickly. He does a lot of walking in boots so needs some that are hard wearing but he doesn't want thick hiking socks.
