Mulberry bags - do they always have a seriel number metal tag under the label?

As I have just bought one, and it looks lovely. But doesn't have the metal disc that my other bags have got.

Does this mean it's a fake? Why wouldn't they just fake the disc if so?

No, not all the bags have the serial number on the fob.

I have two-both purchased from the Mulberry shop. The Roxanne has fob and serial number and the Agyness doesn't.
