Next girls' shoes - how do they come up?

Dd now only has school shoes and summer shoes that fit her so I need to get her some weekend shoes.

Next have loads of very sweet little pumps with a strap across that I know she'll like. Never bought Next shoes before - do they come up big or small? They don't do half sizes and she's about a 11.5 so don't know whether to get 11 or 12.

Personally, unless they offer a proper shoe fitting service I wouldn't buy shoes from them. Unless they are only to be worn for short periods of time.

They come up quite small. I always have to go a size up from what Clarks measure her as. She's wearing 6.5 Clarks shoes and 7 Next slippers and boots.

Fairly true to size, I'd say. DD is an 11.5 as well, and one pair of 'party shoes' with a little strap were falling off her feet as she walked. I got her these as the ruched sides mean they stay on.

PS if that link doesn't work (it doesn't for me, even though it's RIGHT, DAMMIT) you need to chop the crud off the beginning of it.

I used to be a children's shoe fitter so I trust my own judgement!

Size 12s. The shoes that were in theory were half a size too big were falling off her feet, so were genuinely too big for her. I will give up posting now, I don't seem to be entirely coherent this evening.

I'm rubbsish at judging shoe sizes on my daughter's feet, plus she has very narrow feet and wears orthotics, so buying her shoes "off the shelf" is not an option for me.
