I want to buy my mum some clothes for Christmas

She's in her mid-sixties, likes clothes that are easy to machine-wash (so no wool jumpers - I know this from bitter experience) and that are less fitted and don't show cleavage. I was wondering about somewhere that does relatively plain but high-quality clothes like Boden or Land's End (she has a 2nd hand Land's End jumper and likes it) but it's hard to judge. She works in a charity shop some days per week and goes out to resident meetings and walking her dogs, so something for cold rainy weather is always good.

Vouchers not really an option as the shops near her are really quite crappy (Dorothy Perkins and Marks the best bets). She doesn't buy herself new clothes often as she's a pensioner and I'd like to treat her, but to something she'd actually wear. When I was a student I bought her a beaded cardi from Asda, which she likes so much that she keeps it 'for best' in the wardrobe. Any ideas? My budget is high-street.
