Anyone have these boots?

I really like these but have really chunky calves so not sure they'll fit. Also not sure how I feel about non-leather boots ut haven't seen any others I like.

they look VERY wide on the twiglet legged model. You can always send back if no good

these are leather and cheaper and quite similar - i have big calves and they seemed ok

I got a very similar leather pair from Gap for £68, they fit great and I am chunky of calf. Can't link as no footwear on-line.

blushingm - Thanks!! They are fab - have you tried them on then? I really struggle with boots, drove all the way to Bath a few years ago to go to DUO and spent hours there and nothing fitted! My legs aren't that fat, but I'm short so I just don't seem to fit boots. Although I did fit into a pair in clarks today and nearly snogged the sales girl... not sure they were right though.

Ooh, gap as well? I might have to actually get off my arse and go to the shops rather than looking online. I just get so fed up of saying, 'nope, don't fit' to some skinny slaes assistant who looks aghast at the horror of being too fat for shoes. I'm not even that fat (yet, give me til Christmas).

I bought the Blowfish Tribeca boots, ordered them from Schuh's website. Didnt realise were not leather until arrived. Wasnt sure about that but have worn them out so keeping them now. Really like the style of them but are pretty wide even on my chunky calves.

yes - they aren't as high up the leg as some boots so the calf thing isn't as much of an issue - quite soft leather too
