What is this hairstyle called and how do I do it?

It's like you have two french plaits running parallel to each side of your face, but somehow you don't get left with a ponytail - all your hair is incorporated into the updo.

Anyway, does anyone know what it's called and how it's done? Thanks :)

That's not very clear, is it? So each side there is one plait, two in total. And it looks kind of Swiss/Heidi-ish.

Is it a double french braid?
