Bit Bette Lynch?

Greensleeves · 04/10/2010 19:12

it's horrible Grin

Meggles76 · 04/10/2010 19:12

I like! Have you tried ebay? Just got a sold out Warehouse dress on there - BNWT - a shop trader type person

tethersend · 04/10/2010 19:13

Oh, 'tis lovely.

If it's any consolation I heard that Biba are doing a line for Asda next year...

tethersend · 04/10/2010 19:14

I couldn't find any on ebay

SoupDragon · 04/10/2010 19:14

This doesn't happen often Wink, but i agree with Greeny.
It's hideous. you've had a lucky escape.

BelleDameSansMerci · 04/10/2010 19:14

LOL! Asda... That does console me considerably.

I've tried ebay and every other potential outlet.

And it wouldn't be Bet Lynch on lovely brunette me Grin

missorinoco · 04/10/2010 19:15

Really? Gulp. I think you have had a lucky escape.

BelleDameSansMerci · 04/10/2010 19:15

Am really laughing at "lucky escape" Grin

You'll get over it.

Feels like your heart is a smashed digestive biscuit, right now, doesn't it? You're thinking you can't bear the day when you might wake up and forget what it looked like, right?

But, I'm telling you, a girl like you isn't a one-dress woman. You;re young. You're gorgeous. There'll be a thousand more dresses like this one.

Just don't let it break your heart. It ain't worth you smudging your mascara ... .

BelleDameSansMerci · 04/10/2010 19:17

I thought I might get a mixed reaction which does make me feel a bit better...

I just love it though. What I'll actually do is find a dress pattern for something similar and get my mum to make me one if I can find a similar fabric. Much like we used to do when I was a teenager. It'll be by "GrandDameSansMerci" instead of Biba Smile

BelleDameSansMerci · 04/10/2010 19:19

animula, I think I love you (almost as much as I love tethers).

You're all f*cking brilliant. I was genuinely pissed off but I'm now really laughing.

Although I may sneak off to HoF at Meadowhall tomorrow to see if they have it and then to Leeds on Saturday if necessary...

OP posts:
Greensleeves · 04/10/2010 19:20

honestly, it gops

you would have to change your name to LaCheapFloozySansTaste

animula · 04/10/2010 19:22

I love you, too. (And you were sterling on that BT thread, btw.)

(Embarrassingly, i think we've all been there with clothes. Though obviously it is very, deeply wrong to care so much about material things ....)

BelleDameSansMerci · 04/10/2010 19:26

Greensleeves, that's my new name sorted then!

animula Blush re BT thread... Thank you.

TwasEverThus · 04/10/2010 19:26

Belle, when I wanted something from HoF recently they checked stock in their stores and it was posted from Stoke or some such. They found lots. I think I called customer services.

BelleDameSansMerci · 04/10/2010 19:43

Thank you... I'll give them a ring tomorrow.
