Can't find any, anywhere that i like, or if I do they are much too exspensive.

I need a pair for next tuesday and so far I have searched every high street shop i can think of and they either only have long boots (i want ankle or 3/4), or they don't have a size 4 anywhere in the shop or i hate them or they are too exspensive

ARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Whats your budget?

Chandra · 08/09/2005 15:10

MOthercare 12.00?

NExt 24.00?

Nothing nice in Clarks I'm afraid, at least not in number 7.0

Chandra · 08/09/2005 15:11

Ooops sorry, I thought they were for a small child

nutcracker · 08/09/2005 15:13

LOL Chandra, although I can actually fit into kids sizes.

Budget is £50 max.

Don't mind if they aren't leather cos then i can justify buying a new pair in a few months LOL.

Will check out Asda and Tesco, and try and persuade dp to have a trip to Matalan

I bought a pair of black ankle boots from Asda about two years ago (high heel, pointy (ish) toes) and don't think they're leather and they're still going strong - very comfortable as well!!!

bundle · 08/09/2005 16:20

some nice ones around £50 on the clarks website

nutcracker · 08/09/2005 16:21

Yeah my mom often has shoes/boots from Asda.

Didn't think to check Clarks, will do that now.

I don't know where you are, but when we were on holiday someone told us about Clarks Village in Street (near Glastonbury). They sell Clarks shoes/boots at much cheaper prices for end of line stuff etc. (In fact, it is a huge factory outlet shopping centre - they had a Next clearance store, Le Creuset factory outlet loads and loads of stuff clarks village ) I got the kids a pair of shoes each and I also got a pair of ankle style boots that were £50 in the shops and reduced to £35 (or may have been £39 not sure!).

JonesTheSteam · 08/09/2005 16:22

Ooh - my mum bought a lovely pair of burgundy leather ankle boots from Clarks village last year - only £35 - I coveted them all winter!!!!!!!!!

nutcracker · 08/09/2005 16:26

LOL there are some boots on the Clarks site called Nutty

foxinsocks · 08/09/2005 16:27

it was so fantastic there that I'm considering an annual pilgrimage to buy everything I need for the year! They had the most beautiful suits in M&S (for dh) that were practically half price! I absolutely hate shopping but I easily spent 2 hours there and hadn't even managed to go everywhere I wanted.

nutcracker · 08/09/2005 16:28

Unfortunatly Clarks villiage is too far for me.
