If you wear dresses/skirts/leggings etc...

...what do you do with your stuff please?

I know I am in a rut wearing jeans all the time... on holiday I had a bit more variety with shorts, skirts and even occasionally a dress, it was great but now we're back I am back on the automatic jeans-wearing. I have one or two nice skirts, but never manage to actually wear them. But one big reason (apart from jeans just being so easy to sling on) is that I HATE not having any pockets!

It's not like I cart around the kitchen sink, but as a minimum I do like to carry my mobile and house keys around even when I'm at home (i.e. not in a handbag - in fact I often don't like carrying a handbag even when out, as I have enough stuff with all the DCs' clobber already). Keys because I nip in and out quite a lot loading up the car/pushchair ready for going out and suchlike - and also I am paranoid about getting locked out accidentally when DCs are inside - and mobile because I hate the thought of missing a call if a friend is trying to get hold of me, as am a bit short of adult conversation atm!

So - if you manage to wear skirts etc, please enlighten me, how do you carry things around with you? Or do you just not [naked-feeling emoticon]??

Handbag
or
Phone and cash card in bra. House key goes there too sometimes. I have interesting boob imprints when I take my bra off.

O god I never use pockets. The solution I have for Summer when I have a massive bag full of nappies and picnic which stays on the buggy, but want to keep purse and phone on me, for eg if we are at the park or beach, is a White Stuff bag liek this, but less twee. Perfect size

Also have a couple of across the body bags, which is great when pushing pram/grabbing dcs, picked up thisgreen one, maybe not to everyone's taste, but was £10 in the sale and can forget it's there.

Wow, quick answers, thank you! So Dinah & Booboo, do you carry those round the house as well? Or just when you go out?

Not sure about the bra solution though, especially as I am still BF so it would all fall out when DD demands boob!

I don't carry stuff around the house with me.

I've got a small cross-body handbag which I use if I'm also taking a bagful of DS' stuff. If DH is coming out with us too then he has a bag with stuff for DS and I take a bigger handbag.

I don't carry anything around the house. Keys and phone live in handbag. I have one of those doors that doesn't lock when you shut but you have to lock when you go out. It is great as I am never locked out anymore!
