Uggs for a night out?

Have a night out this week with the girls. Probably a casual dinner and then to the pub. I was thinking of wearing black skinny jeans tucked into my black Ugg Argyle boots. Plan to wear a sheer dressy top with a vest underneath to dress things up a bit. Just wondering if this will look ok? Thanks for your help.

Skinnies are good with ankle boots - I've got a tan pair from faith (in the sale fwiw) and I love them, wear them with my leggings and skinnies.

I also have uggs but wouldn't wear on an evening out

I saw someone with a spaghetti strap maxi dress on yesterday and ugg cardi boots. Looked ridiculous.
