Where do you get proper keep your legs warm tights?

you know, proper thick ones that aren't shaper tights (i.e. don't suck in everything on your legs so you feel you can't breathe)

I saw some proper tights in M&S but they had stupid patterns on.

I know they aren't that fashionable but either I wear trousers from now till May or I find some warm tights!

do you think those would be proper warm ones?

ah ha, hadn't thought of new look. Didn't actually even realise they did tights! They do look comfy.

The M&S ones are jolly warm. Got them from a recommendation on here in Jan (when we had the snow)

Get the uniqlo heat-tech ones - like the vests, they're fab.

thanks lanky. Will order them online! It's actually easier ordering this sort of thing online as they so often don't have the right size of tights or a full range in store.

didn't realise uniqlo did tights either! I must walk around with my eyes closed.

I have just ordered some heattech tights! I have the leggings and they are lovely. They are 2 for £19.99 at the moment. I ordered some long-sleeved tops for dd as she wears mine under her rugby t-shirt and I want them back!

The M and S Autograph ones with cashmere are v warm

Dexter are the heattech leggings good and thick, ie. are they the ultimate black leggings?

They aren't thick, they look more like very thick tights so I am afraid they are not the ultimate legging! The search goes on...

Purple colour is lovely, not sure if they arexdoing it this year

I've only seen the black in merino and they're all sold out in my local store. I thought I'd try the cashmere.
I ended up going to H&M children's dept as am quite short!
