am venturing into the world of purple - what colour lipstick?

HAve recently bought a couple of purple tops for going out. BUT what colour lipstick? Am currently wearing said purple top with a kind of raspberry colour lippy - any good? Any recommendations?

Yes raspberry is nice OR go for nude lips with a smoky eye. Nude = lip pencil one shade darker than your natural colour with a pinky-beige lipstick and plenty of gloss. Cheryl and Jennifer Aniston wear it well!

I like purples and browns, esp in Autumn. Bobbi Brown's Chocolate lipstick and Brown tinted lipbalm are nice.
