Is it still OK to wear ugg style boots ?

I am planning on getting some decent, probably mid calf boots asap for the winter, but am quite fancying some Ugg style ones as well as a cheaper option to wear with skinny jeans etc.

Can only really afford one decent pair and one cheaper pair really and it seems like a good option ?

It was never ok. I foolishly bought some cheap ugg-style boots, as was going to be spending day sightseeing somewhere very cold, and i threw them in the bin at the end of the day, they ruined my knees, they will ruin yours, and they're ugly as sin.

I'd say get some decent leather ones if you want winter boots, if you spend a fair bit (ie same as uggs cost) they'll last you ages.

Hmm thats what I feared.

Am very much liking the boots on the boot thread started by DaisySteiner so may get some of those and stick with that I think. Don't particularly want to venture into chav territory if I can help it.
