Lissielou ~ Just wondered if you've had your hair cut again since this thread and if so are you feeling happier now? Smile

lol, no not had it chopped yet. am a bit panicky now (and skint) so will wait til tuesday so its after the wedding. am still no happier with it though!

I'm sorry to hear you're no happier.

I saw a snippette of This Morning this morning and thought of your predicament. They were talking about consumer rights and it seems that the hairdresser that cut your hair is legally obliged to cut your hair again at no extra cost as you clearly didn't get what you asked for.

I can understand you not wanting to let the same hairdresser cut your hair again so I wonder if they'll give you a refund which will then go to pay for your lovely new crop.

It just seems terribly unfair that they got a bit scissor happy and you're left feeling upset, self-conscious and out of pocket and you now have to pay again for a haircut.

the problem was, it was a free haircut. I had a gift voucher last xmas for a free cut and blowdry. thought to myself "ah, I'll get it trimmed and tidied up a bit then after the wedding shell out and get my lovely crop" now the fringe is just long enough to comb to the side (with LOTS of gel and mousse) it doesnt look right but at least it looks a teensy bit better. and i have a lovely hat.

Amanderrr · 30/09/2010 15:09

Hooray for lovely hats! Grin

What a shame the hairdresser is getting away scot free when they've caused you such upset. But, as you say, it was just supposed to be a tidy up until you went for the crop so it's not the end of the world.

Enjoy the wedding and please post back when you've had the crop.
