Something warm to wear to watch boys play football for chunky calved people?

My boys play football and rugby on the weekend and i am fed up of getting cold feet standing around watching them play.
I have a fair few pairs of knee high boots but none are very warm and even with thick hiking socks on underneath my feet still get cold.
I have alwasy disliked UGG boots but they are beginning to appeal if they will keep my feet warm? Are there any particualr brands/styles that anyone would recommend for those of un inflicted with chunky calves. I would normally wear leggings with a long tunic/sweater dress and knee high boots so something that wouldn't look too ridiculous with leggings and dress/tunic.
Thank you

I am inflicted with large calves and find celtic sheepskin boots fit well - They will be ideal for keeping you toasty and you won't regret buying them. Had mine on this sunday and was very warm :)

I have HUGE thighs and my Uggs (knee length) fit well! Very toasty!

uggs no good on the sidelines of a wet muddy football pitch tho!

or you could buy a sheepskin insole to stick in your wellies!
