Boden off-duty parka -anyone bought?

Thinking of getting but wouldn't want to spend the money if it wasn't warm enough or waterproof enough. if you have it, what do you think? The description says "showerproof".

Does it seem hefty and solid? Or more of a light jacket with ideas above its station?

Yes - and I sent it back. To use your own exression it is a light jacket with ideas above its station!

It's lovely on - a nice, flattering shape. It's not a coat for a cold day though - the sleeves only have a polyester lining although the body of the coat has a more substantial fur lining. I wouldn't recommend it - completely overpriced.

I agree with millie It's OK, didn't look as nice as the photo but the quality was poor & the sleeves are realy thinly lined.I don't think it would have kept me warm in Autumn, let alone the depths of Winter. Don't waste your money.

..well, would have been better to hear that it's really great and toasty warm, but I had a feeling it might not be!
