Pale coloured boots - bad idea?

I have seen some pale (beigey) boots in a sale - I like the shape and heel. But they are described as summer boots. Is it a bad idea to get them for autumn?

I have some brand new ones from last year that I got out yesterday.

You have to be really sure it's not going to rain otherwise they'll pick up all the dirt from the road and show water marks.

However much I love mine I don't wear them alot.

I have beige ones and wear them a lot. They go with most things and are more interesting than bog standard black ones IMO.

Besides, who wears boots in the summer?
