Tucking jeans into boots?

I quite like this style but thing is I am size 16 so don't do skinny jeans. Any other way round this? Cheers.

Skinny jeans aren't just for skinny people. Get a pair that fit you well on the top half, the skinny bit just means they are tight around the calf and ankle. If they are nice and snug round the lower leg, they will look great tucked into boots. As will you. (look great).

What a nice, encouraging post from vandubby Smile

tefal, you don't necessarily need skinny jeans - I discovered Boden's straightleg jeans last winter, and have been wearing them tucked into boots ever since.

They're really comfortable, look great, and they even fit sturdy people like me (I'm an 8-10 but I have chunky thighs so up until I found these jeans I thought that 'skinny' jeans would never do for me).

Go for it, as vandubby says - you'll look great and feel fantastic.

I certainly agree that you don't always need skinny jeans. I have a pair of "slim leg" jeans from French Connection - they are the best pair I have ever had and I always tuck them into my boots, but equally they look good with flats too. I will be buying myself another pair.

Girls you are kind. I just have visions of me in skinny jeans (have good legs) with this big bum and belly up top.

Will have a look at Boden stuff. Keep peeking in but never ordering!

Dear God, tefal, if you've got good legs then you were made for jeans tucked into boots! You can hide your big bum and belly with a tunic and before you know it you'll be turning heads for all the right reasons!

tefal - Tucking skinny jeans in to boots is one of the most flattering ways of wearing them.
Straight legs create a similar effect but, for most of us, are a more flattering option.
Give it a go, you will be thrilled
