I've had two recommendations for Studiofix.
But I have dry skin and like to use a rich moisturiser underneath.
Anyone got any hints/tips/recommendations?

Mineralize Satinfinish is supposed to be good for normal-dry skin...?

(Just reading up on the MAC website)

Studiofix has magical qualities. It gives a fabulous finish.

You should be fine as long as you don't apply it straight away, obv!

But its matte, right?
Isn't the 'dewy' look what everyones after at the moment?

Studiofix comes in two formats - the solid one with a pad, and the liquid. I used to wear the solid one when younger, but since having the children my skin is dryer, and the Studiofix liquid is amazing - the best I've ever found (have tried Chanel Vitalumiere as rec on MN which has a nice texture but doesn't last and doesn't give quite enough coverage for me). I use moisturiser underneath and sometimes a primer too if I can be bothered.

I wear the Studiofix liquid, but I mix it with a small amount of moisturiser. It gives me a nice dewy look but with good coverage and doesn't cling to my dry bits. I use the powder over it to 'set' it, and just on its own sometimes as well.
