Can you help me find a coat, please?

I want something that will last me the winter, is reasonably priced, and will make my waist look tiny a bit smaller. Am not sure what size I would be as its my boobs I'd need to work around - am currently a GG cup if thats any help!

Preferably don't want a full length coat as it will get in the way of my walking stick.

I know bugger all about dressing to my shape, so some advice on what type of coat I should go for / what to avoid would be great, as well as some suggestions.

TIA :)

how much?

SirBoobAlot · 24/09/2010 20:54

Um... See I say reasonable, but I haven't actually bought myself a coat in about four years, so I don't know what reasonable is Blush

me too - I have to have it!

I feel your pain re boobs!

I have this - not hugely thick but surprisingly warm and very flattering on. Accomodates HH cups without having to upsize - I actually went down a size!

Really like this but a bit over budget.

If you have GGs, I'd generally suggest giving anything double breasted quite a wide berth! I have a ridiculous amount of coats, but I'm yet to find a double breasted that doesn't make them look absolutely massive and boxy.

Generally, I find single breasted best, something fitted at the waist or with a tie, and then the bottom depends on the shape of your hips/tum. I have post baby tum and big hips so the one I linked hides all of that cos it's quite a line

what about

Thank you!

Not keen on that one.

I like that BRavissimo one but it's only in cotton twill. 'Twill not keep out the cold (sorry).
