Same ones I wore for last three years. Stop it with the boots threads, it is far too tempting, and DH calls me Imelda Marcos as it is!

dropinthe · 06/09/2005 14:10

I'm going to try that site that someone on here posted a little while back that has 30 different widths round the calf bit so I can get them over my larder legs! Will then slip into a nice brown leather knee high riding boot,me thinks that will have to wait until Crimbo as no fundage at present.

not sure about wedge boots, could look a bit like hoofs
on the look out for a round-toed black leather pair for day wear to add to my vast collection!

NomDePlume · 06/09/2005 14:17

I like wedge boots, but the wedge has to be just-so, otherwise they look like corrective footwear IMO.

dropinthe · 06/09/2005 14:18

Anyone doing South American Uggs!!!?

nailpolish · 06/09/2005 14:18

moss, it was the rally ones i saw, but i like the starsky ones too

i know what you all mean about wedge boots, just dont get it myself, cant like them at all

i can only afford one pair, and i can never decide what colour

cannot stand black boots with jeans, so its usually brown, but i like black for going out

and i love suede but its not very practical (or so my mother always told me)

I've got a new pair of low heeled boots from Next which I wear to work cos I have a dodgy knee and need comfort!

I have my eye on a multitude of boots I saw whilst at Lakeside last week. I only need about a grand to buy the ones I wanted. I will settle for a pair for Christmas from myself to myself, something frivolous and non-practical!

LIZS · 06/09/2005 14:35

Are my black soft leather, flat, zip up ankle boots not going to cut it this season then ?

I got some duo boots last christmas and they are the most comfortable shoes that I have, got my eye on another pair of boots, so have to start saving my pennies.
