I quite fancy a pair and have ordered some in the Next sale reduced from £45 to £20. They're pewter in colour, so my question is: will they look too 'Lionel Blair tap dancing in the 1980s' or will they be 'Miss Marple does disco'?
I did have some tan brogues back in the mid-80s as a teenager - there was a sort of old-fashioned dressing craze with broochs at blouse necks, tweedy trousers etc.
Now at 43, should I go for it again?
