Spanx higher power magic knickers

Have any - ahem - larger ladies tried these? I'm size 18-20 Blush and am considering buying them to go under a dress. Just want to know if they're likely to roll at top or bottom, or be generally uncomfortable, before I fork out £30 for a pair of knickers. Thanks.

I'm currently a size 16 but was 18 just after the birth of DD and I wore some under a maxi dress for a night out. They didn't roll at all and were reasonably comfy, still wear them if I'm wearing a dress, not very often though.

Although I should say my pair were copy Spanx from Aldi, £3.99, so I probably would have not minded too much if there was a bit of roll! Grin

Thanks. They sound like a bargain. I'm prepared to pay up for spanx if they work and are reasonably comfy. If I could try to find a cheap pair and give them a try before my night out.

Meant to say, would prob be a good idea for me to try to find a cheap pair. Although I have had sine mid priced ones from m&s before and they were crap.

I've worn them at a 16 - 18 and no roll or discomfort at all - TBH I found the cheap ones to be a false economy, they did roll and pinch.

I wouldn't bother with the cheap ones. Spanx are the best particularly as they are so light so you don't get all hot and sweaty. I alwasy buy the size smaller than they suggest as they seem to do a better job of sucking it all in but that is probably just me. Figleaves often do 10% off so try there. I get mine in Debenhams if I am in town to save the delivery charge but you are more likely to get the size you want online.

Thanks for the advice. The m&s ones were pretty uncomortable and rolled which is why I was going to try the spanx ones this time as I've generally heard good things about the brand.
