Can I use my epilator on my face?

I have been epilating my legs for years.
I normally wax my top lip but have run out of wax ( beauty that i am)

Can I use an epilator on my top lip?
Its quite an old one and I have lost the instructions....

You probably could, and I've thought about doing it in the past, but decided that the action would be too much like shaving and couldn't go through with it.

this springy thing works really well. Have been using it for ages now and it's a really good replacement to waxing as the skin doesn't get red. hth

I tried this once, and my top lip swelled up as though I'd been punched in the face! I think the skin is so much more sensitive than that on your legs that it can't take the yanking out of hair in the same way. I don't think I left the house for a couple of days - fortunately, DH was working away at the time so he never witnessed my swollen face, of I'd have never lived it down!

I had an attatchment on mine specifically for the face. Ended up with a great big red mark that turned into a very attractive scab. The scar took ages to go.

Well I did it, and its fine, put it on the slow setting.
I bought one of those spring things it didnt do anything.
