party outfit query

sorry for lame title; i have a party at the weekend, got a dress but its kind of see through, very thin material, electric blue (back to the 80's!) anyone know where i can get a 'slip' to go under it? i guess it would need to be 'nude'?? its mid thigh length dress with short sleeves but wide neck so will have to be shoestring or strapless slip i think. also, what shall i wear on my legs? i dont like bare legs as i have a large birthmark on one calf. where can i get good 'hosiery' with two days to go? Also, would grey accessories go? as i only have one pair of heels which are patent grey and black (sorry not explaining very well outfit now sounds hideous!) and a silver grey but not metallic pashmina thing, silver jewellery, does this sound ok?i havent been out for ..... so long cant remember. and still have no idea what to do with hair aaagh.

There is a slip at Debenhams which is also body shaping but which would fit under your dress, not sure if this helps?

As you describe the dress an being quite thin and summery, I'm not sure if I'd wear black tights. I guess you'll better try both, black and tan tights and see which looks better with the dress. Hard to tell without seeing it together, sorry!
Not sure about grey/black shoes, might be a bit too much with the blue dress?

thankyou for reply, that slip looks great but i cant afford to spend that much, im going to have to rethink the slip thing, i only have a black mini skirt one so will have to see if it shows through! if thats no good will beg,borrow one hopefully. i got some shimmery tan tights today. will do a try on tonight. many thanks.
