Have scoured Matches and Net a Porter and not very inspired. I want a dress for a black-tie dinner, that I can then wear as my Christmas going-out dress. So dressy but not too formal.
I'm an 8-10, small bust and quite flat stomach and strapless/one shoulder styles do not suit me at all. Happy with black but prepared to be adventurous 
Am planning to splurge with a similar budget for shoes, although I guess I could spend a bit more on the dress and wear the metallic strappy heels I already own.
Any suggestions? Please....? Always get good suggestions on here so am counting on you... (the first event is next weekend...)
